ARDMORE MORAVIAN CHURCH February 11, 2018 Last Sunday After the Epiphany PRELUDE                       “My Lord, What a Morning”                  Bonam WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS RIGHT HAND OF FELLOWSHIP CALL TO WORSHIP                       “Rock of Ages”                      Walker PREPARING OUR HEARTS The glory of God shines like a consuming fire. We have seen the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. The voice of God thunders like a mighty storm. Out of the cloud, God speaks: This is my beloved Son; listen to Him! HYMNS AD PRAISE SONGS “Days of Elijah”                                            These are the days of Elijah, declaring the Word of the Lord; And these are the days of Your servant, Moses, Righteousness being restored; And though these are days of great trials, Of famine and darkness and sword; still we are the voice in the desert crying “Prepare ye the way of the Lord.” Chorus: Behold He comes, riding on the clouds, Shining like the sun at the trumpet call; Lift your voice it’s the year of Jubilee And out of Zion’s hill salvation comes. These are the days of Ezekiel; the dry bones becoming as flesh; And these are the days of Your servant David, Rebuilding a temple of praise; And these are the days of the harvest, The fields are as white in the world, and as we are laborers in Your vineyard, declaring the Word of the Lord. (Chorus) Bridge: There is no god like Jehovah, There is no god like Jehovah, There is no god like Jehovah, There is no god like Jehovah… (Chorus) “Offering” The sun cannot compare to the glory of Your love There is no shadow in Your presence No mortal man would dare to stand before Your throne Before the Holy One of heaven It's only by Your blood And it's only through Your mercy Lord, I come. I bring an offering Of worship to my King No one on earth deserves The praises that I sing Jesus, may You receive The honor that You're due O Lord, I bring an offering to You I bring an offering to You I bring an offering Of worship to my King No one on earth deserves The praises that I sing Jesus, may You receive The honor that You're due O Lord, I bring an offering to You O Lord, I bring an offering to You O Lord, I bring an offering to You  (Please be seated) “The Heart of Worship” When the music fades, all is stripped away; and I simply come Longing just to bring something that’s of worth, That would bless Your heart. I’ll bring You more than a song, for a song in itself Is not what You have required. You search much deeper within, through the way things appear, You’re looking into my heart. Chorus:  I’m coming back to the heart of worship, and it’s all about You. All about You Jesus. I’m sorry, Lord, for the thing I’ve made it When it’s all about You, it’s all about You Jesus. King of endless worth. No one could express how much You deserve. Though I’m weak and poor, all I have is Yours, Every single breath. I’ll bring You more than a song, for a song in itself Is not what You have required. You search much deeper within, through the way things appear, You’re looking into my heart. And he was transfigured before them, 3 and his clothes became dazzling white, such as no one on earth could bleach them. 4 And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, who were talking with Jesus. 5 Then Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three dwellings, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” 6 He did not know what to say, for they were terrified. 7 Then a cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud there came a voice, “This is my Son, the Beloved; listen to him!” 8 Suddenly when they looked around, they saw no one with them anymore, but only Jesus. 9 As they were coming down the mountain, he ordered them to tell no one about what they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
