How Sweet the Sound”          Hayes WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS RIGHT HAND OF FELLOWSHIP  CALL TO WORSHIP                                                            arr. Sorenson “Brethren We Have Met to Worship” PREPARING OUR HEARTS  8 The   Lord   is   gracious   and   merciful,   slow   to   anger   and   abounding   in   steadfast love. 9 The Lord is good to all,  and his compassion is over all that he has made. 14 The   Lord    upholds   all   who   are   falling,      and   raises   up   all   who   are   bowed   down. 15 The   eyes   of   all   look   to   you,   and   you   give   them   their   food   in   due   season. 16 You   open   your   hand,   satisfying   the   desire   of   every   living   thing. 17 The   Lord    is just   in   all   his   ways,   and   kind   in   all   his   doings. 18 The   Lord    is   near   to   all   who   call on   him,   to   all   who   call   on   him   in   truth. 19 He   fulfills   the   desire   of   all   who   fear him;      he   also   hears   their   cry,   and   saves   them. 20 The   Lord    watches   over   all   who love   him,      but   all   the   wicked   he   will   destroy. 21 My   mouth   will   speak   the   praise of the Lord ,   and all flesh will bless his holy name forever and ever. Psalm 145:8-9; 14-21 HYMNS AND PRAISE SONGS “He is Exalted” He is exalted, the King is exalted on high; I will praise Him. He is exalted, forever exalted, and I will praise His name. He is the Lord; forever His truth shall reign. Heaven and earth rejoice in His holy name. He is exalted, the King is exalted on high.  (Repeat) “How Great Is Our God” The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty; Let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice. He wraps Himself in light and darkness tries to hide, And trembles at His voice, and trembles at His voice. How great is our God. Sing with me; How great is our God. And all will see how great, how great, is our God. Age to age He stands, and time is in His hands; Beginning and the end, beginning and the end. The Godhead, three in one, Father, Spirit, Son, The Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb. How great is our God. Sing with me;  How great is our God. And all will see how great, how great is our God. (Voices only) How great is our God. Sing with me; How great is our God. And all will see how great, how great is our God. (Please be seated) “Amazing Grace” Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see. Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed Chorus: My chains are gone, I’ve been set free My God, my Savior has ransomed me. And like a flood, His mercy reigns, unending love, amazing grace. The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures. Chorus: (2x’s) The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine. But God who called me here below, will be forever mine, Will be forever mine, You are forever mine. CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER RESPONSE TO CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER “Grace Flows Down” Amazing grace, How sweet the sound; Amazing love, Now flowing down From hands and feet That were nailed to the tree As grace flows down And covers me.
