Jesus calls us to love our neighbors. The Blessing Box is one of the ways that AMC has chosen to do just that. We realized that we are a small church, and that the most efficient way for our congregation to reach out was by creating and maintaining our Blessing Box. 

The Blessing Box is located in front of the church just off of Academy Street. We keep the box stocked with canned good items, toiletries, and seasonal items (hats/mittens, school supplies, sun screen). At any time, anyone can come and take what they need. 

Our motto is: Take what you need, Leave what you can, and Above all be Blessed. Our neighbors have taken owner ship and keep the box stocked along with our women's fellowship. Our hope is that this idea catches on just as quickly as the little library that have popped up all over! 

The "Mission House" is a temporary house for missionaries while they are in the United States for an extended period of time. The house is available to missionaries from any denomination at no cost. While here we have the opportunity to minister to them and hear personal stories about their work in the mission fields.
